Turning Garbage into Cool
Can you think of a better use for garbage than to turn it into a cool looking and quite useful messenger bag? Timbuk2's Full-Cycle collection does just that. These bags are made from 100% recycled materials, mostly plastics of course, and when it wears out, you can recycle the bag. All you have to do is remove the buckles and zippers and toss it into the recycle bin. This is one way to feel a bit less guilty about drinking water out of a plastic bottle.
Timbuk2 pioneered the messenger bag and began life in 1989 in a San Francisco garage. Rob Honeycutt, a bicycle messenger, took an old sewing machine and started the company that is focused on urban adventure bags. The new bags are coming in the fall of 2012 and once they are released we'll have them listed so you can find the best price.
